30 Days of Me: Day 10 - A photo of you taken over ten years ago

Kinda hard to choose just one, so I'll post a few =)


I'm guessing I was a toddler here - look how blonde my hair is too!

Me playing with my Fischer Price kitchen set - check out those curls too! I think we still have that playset somewhere...

I think this is the first day of 1st grade - gotta love the early 90s fashion with the suspenders and of course the Lisa Frank backpack! That's my doggie Bitsy too in the photo - she was a miniture fox terrier and the runt of the litter, we got her when I was like 5 and she lived to be like 14 or 15 years old (I was in my 2nd year of college when she died).

Flash forward to high school, this was from the first dance I ever went to, my sophomore year of high school, in Spring 2000 when I was 15. That's my best friend from high school when she had her hair cut super short. At the time my school only had 3 dances - homecoming, Valentine's Day and Prom and I never went cuz I didn't have a date. She insisted I go to a dance at her school, saying they were really fun, especially if you go with friends, so she found a date who ended up being my high school sweetheart for the rest of high school and most of my first year of college - he went to our youth group and was in her Chem class, sort of tutoring her as she was having trouble in it. Wow... my face is so skinny!
