Since late Spring 2005 I have been an active of the Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game (MMORPG) World of Warcraft.
My friend and soon to be roommate, as well as my now-ex, both interested me to the game and got me started playing it. Over the years, I've done a lot of questing, a little PVP, some RP, and my fair share of raiding.
I have 3 characters at max level - an original human Ret Paladin, a blood elf hunter, and a night elf boomkin - among a small handful of level 60+ toons and a few lowbie alts. I've had some experience playing each class a little bit just to understand the role a bit better.
I remember world PVP before Battlegrounds were introduced. I remember the additions of Blackwing Lair, ZG, and the opening day of AQ. I remember having to actually work for my epic mount. I remember Dire Maul Tribute runs were what we would do for fun during non-raid nights. I remember when they introduced the Tier .5 quest chains and working on that to get my near, better gear at the time. I remember how excited I was when I got my Tier 2 helmet off Onyxia (yay Judgement!). So many things have changed in the game throughout the years!
Currently, I and my husband (who's got like 6 characters maxed and has multi-boxed up to 5 accounts) are taking a bit of a break from the game, but fully expect to return for the next expansion - Cataclysm.
I figured, I know a handful who read my blog play WoW and I've met some more female WoW-playing bloggers so I thought, why not make it a weekly segment?
Warcraft Wednesdays are where I share about my time play WoW and other WoW-related news.
