As I moved out and into my own place with my husband, it got a bit lonely and felt a bit strange not having a little furball wandering around the place. Although we would both like to get a dog and plan on getting one once we have house, our apartment is a bit small and not the ideal environment we would want to have a dog in.
My husband surprised me for Christmas 2008 with a cute little 7-week old kitty of my own!
After doing some research, we believe she is a domestic Bronze Egyptian Mau, as she has a lot of the characteristics of the breed and the same markings. Before we knew that though, we thought her markings were a bit tiger-like, so we named her Tiger.
Tiger likes to play, run around and get into things. She also like to sit on high up places and watch me do things (like the dishes or get ready in the morning). She LOVES tuna and most other meats, but eats her kibble just fine. She also likes catnip, the lazer pointer and pretty much anything that dangles that she can try and jump up and catch.We're not at the stage in our life where we should be having kids yet, but having a furbaby has been a great substitute so far!
